SJCC "Year in Japan" Scholarship
In May 2024, I was awarded the "Year in Japan" scholarship by the Swiss-Japanese Chamber of Commerce (SJCC). I moved to Fukuoka in October 2024—and quickly fell in love with the city, its people, and its food. I love it here so much that one year no longer feels like enough. How long I’ll stay, I don’t know yet—but it feels like I’ve only just begun to scratch the surface of this adventure.
